• Ambient Hearing Protection
  

  DEC’s Ambient Hearing Protection integrates advanced MESH and MAMBRANE technologies, combined with a large acoustic inlet aperture and high-frequency catcher technology. These innovations ensure that users maintain full situational awareness and even may experience enhanced speech perception, particularly in noisy environments.

• Breakthrough in Impulse filter technology
  

  DEC made significant strides in impulse filter technology. By 2014, this technology, now patented, began to find widespread application, especially among security services and enthusiasts in recreational shooting and hunting. Impulse noises are all around us, think of fireworks, scaffolding, carpeting and staple guns. Developing solution for specific noise challenges, exemplifies our commitment to provide specialized solutions across diverse fields.

• Ear piece measuring devices
  

  Another advancement by DEC is the development of the Acoustic Leakage Tester (ALT) in 2015. This measuring device which operates on iOS devices, coupled with a sensor unit, plays a critical role in ensuring the efficacy of earpieces. ALT works on both custom molds and generic fit earplugs that can accommodate DEC acoustic filters. The ALT accurately measures whether an earpiece is correctly sealed in the ear, guaranteeing optimal protection levels.

• Filtered Foam Earplugs
  

  DEC’s innovation journey led to the creation of Filtered Foam Earplugs, the latest addition to the ambient hearing protection range. These earplugs, integrating a filter with a large sound port and mesh attenuator, allow for natural sound transmission, speech intelligibility and precise sound direction. The use of viscoelastic memory foam ensures a wide fitting range and comfortable fit, making these earplugs ideal for mucis and motorsports events or for daily use in workplace environments.
